 代下11:1 罗波安来到耶路撒冷、招聚犹大家、和便雅悯家、共十八万人、都是挑选的战士、要与以色列人争战、好将国夺回再归自己。
 Now when Rehoboam had come to Jerusalem, he assembled the house of Judah and Benjamin, 180, 000 chosen men who were warriors, to fight against Israel to restore the kingdom to Rehoboam.
 代下11:2 但耶和华的话临到神人示玛雅说、
 But the word of the Lord came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
 代下11:3 你去告诉所罗门的儿子犹大王罗波安、和住犹大便雅悯的以色列众人、说、
 "Speak to Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying,
 代下11:4 耶和华如此说、你们不可上去、与你们的弟兄争战．各归各家去罢．因为这事出於我。众人就听从耶和华的话、归回不去与耶罗波安争战。
 'Thus says the Lord, "You shall not go up or fight against your relatives; return every man to his house, for this thing is from Me."'" So they listened to the words of the Lord and returned from going against Jeroboam.
 代下11:5 罗波安住在耶路撒冷、在犹大地修筑城邑。
 Rehoboam lived in Jerusalem and built cities for defense in Judah.
 代下11:6 为保障修筑伯利恒、以坦、提哥亚、
 Thus he built Bethlehem, Etam, Tekoa,
 代下11:7 伯夙、梭哥、亚杜兰、
 Beth-zur, Soco, Adullam,
 代下11:8 迦特、玛利沙、西弗、
 Gath, Mareshah, Ziph,
 代下11:9 亚多莱音、拉吉、亚西加、
 Adoraim, Lachish, Azekah,
 代下11:10琐拉、亚雅仑、希伯仑．这都是犹大和便雅悯的坚固城。
 Zorah, Aijalon and Hebron, which are fortified cities in Judah and in Benjamin.
 代下11:11罗波安又坚固各处的保障、在其中安置军长、又豫备下粮食、油、酒。
 He also strengthened the fortresses and put officers in them and stores of food, oil and wine.
 代下11:12他在各城里豫备盾牌和枪、且使城极其坚固。犹大和便雅悯都归了他。
 He put shields and spears in every city and strengthened them greatly. So he held Judah and Benjamin.
 代下11:13以色列全地的祭司和利未人、都从四方来归罗波安。
 Moreover, the priests and the Levites who were in all Israel stood with him from all their districts.
 代下11:14利未人撇下他们的郊野和产业、来到犹大与耶路撒冷．是因耶罗波安和他的儿子拒绝他们、不许他们供祭司职分事奉耶和华。
 For the Levites left their pasture lands and their property and came to Judah and Jerusalem, for Jeroboam and his sons had excluded them from serving as priests to the Lord.
 代下11:15耶罗波安为邱坛、为鬼魔、〔原文作公山羊〕为自己所铸造的牛犊、设立祭司。
 He set up priests of his own for the high places, for the satyrs and for the calves which he had made.
 代下11:16以色列各支派中、凡立定心意寻求耶和华以色列　神的、都随从利未人、来到耶路撒冷祭祀耶和华他们列祖的　神。
 Those from all the tribes of Israel who set their hearts on seeking the Lord God of Israel followed them to Jerusalem, to sacrifice to the Lord God of their fathers.
 代下11:17这样、就坚固犹大国、使所罗门的儿子罗波安强盛三年、因为他们三年遵行大卫和所罗门的道。
 They strengthened the kingdom of Judah and supported Rehoboam the son of Solomon for three years, for they walked in the way of David and Solomon for three years.
 代下11:18罗波安娶大卫儿子耶利摩的女儿玛哈拉为妻、又娶耶西儿子以利押的女儿亚比孩为妻。
 Then Rehoboam took as a wife Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David and of Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse,
 代下11:19从他生了几个儿子、就是耶乌施、示玛利雅、撒罕。
 and she bore him sons: Jeush, Shemariah and Zaham.
 代下11:20後来又娶押沙龙的女儿玛迦．〔十三章二节作乌列的女儿米该雅〕从他生了亚比雅、亚太、细撒、示罗密。
 After her he took Maacah the daughter of Absalom, and she bore him Abijah, Attai, Ziza and Shelomith.
 代下11:21罗波安娶十八个妻、立六十个妾、生二十八个儿子、六十个女儿．他却爱押沙龙的女儿玛迦、比爱别的妻妾更甚。
 Rehoboam loved Maacah the daughter of Absalom more than all his other wives and concubines. For he had taken eighteen wives and sixty concubines and fathered twenty-eight sons and sixty daughters.
 代下11:22罗波安立玛迦的儿子亚比雅作太子、在他弟兄中为首．因为想要立他接续作王。
 Rehoboam appointed Abijah the son of Maacah as head and leader among his brothers, for he intended to make him king.
 代下11:23罗波安办事精明、使他众子分散在犹大和便雅悯全地各坚固城里、又赐他们许多粮食、为他们多寻妻子。
 He acted wisely and distributed some of his sons through all the territories of Judah and Benjamin to all the fortified cities, and he gave them food in abundance. And he sought many wives for them.
