 代下36:1 国民立约西亚的儿子约哈斯、在耶路撒冷接续他父作王。
 Then the people of the land took Joahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in place of his father in Jerusalem.
 代下36:2 约哈斯登基的时候年二十三岁、在耶路撒冷作王三个月。
 Joahaz was twenty-three years old when he became king, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem.
 代下36:3 埃及王在耶路撒冷废了他、又罚犹大国、银子一百他连得、金子一他连得。
 Then the king of Egypt deposed him at Jerusalem, and imposed on the land a fine of one hundred talents of silver and one talent of gold.
 代下36:4 埃及王尼哥立约哈斯的哥哥以利雅敬作犹大和耶路撒冷的王、改名叫约雅敬、又将约哈斯带到埃及去了。
 The king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and changed his name to Jehoiakim. But Neco took Joahaz his brother and brought him to Egypt.
 代下36:5 约雅敬登基的时候年二十五岁、在耶路撒冷作王十一年．行耶和华他　神眼中看为恶的事。
 Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem; and he did evil in the sight of the Lord his God.
 代下36:6 巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒上来攻击他、用铜链锁著他、要将他带到巴比伦去。
 Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against him and bound him with bronze chains to take him to Babylon.
 代下36:7 尼布甲尼撒又将耶和华殿里的器皿带到巴比伦、放在他神的庙里。〔或作自己的宫里〕
 Nebuchadnezzar also brought some of the articles of the house of the Lord to Babylon and put them in his temple at Babylon.
 代下36:8 约雅敬其馀的事、和他所行可憎的事、并他一切的行为、都写在以色列和犹大列王记上．他儿子约雅斤接续他作王。
 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim and the abominations which he did, and what was found against him, behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel and Judah. And Jehoiachin his son became king in his place.
 代下36:9 约雅斤登基的时候年八岁、〔列王下二十四章八节作十八岁〕在耶路撒冷作王三个月零十天．行耶和华眼中看为恶的事。
 Jehoiachin was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem, and he did evil in the sight of the Lord.
 代下36:10过了一年、尼布甲尼撒差遣人、将约雅斤和耶和华殿里各样宝贵的器皿带到巴比伦．就立约雅斤的叔叔〔原文作兄〕西底家、作犹大和耶路撒冷的王。
 At the turn of the year King Nebuchadnezzar sent and brought him to Babylon with the valuable articles of the house of the Lord, and he made his kinsman Zedekiah king over Judah and Jerusalem.
 代下36:11西底家登基的时候年二十一岁、在耶路撒冷作王十一年．
 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem.
 代下36:12行耶和华他　神眼中看为恶的事．先知耶利米以耶和华的话劝他、他仍不在耶利米面前自卑。
 He did evil in the sight of the Lord his God; he did not humble himself before Jeremiah the prophet who spoke for the Lord.
 代下36:13尼布甲尼撒曾使他指著　神起誓、他却背叛．强项硬心、不归服耶和华以色列的　神。
 He also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar who had made him swear allegiance by God. But he stiffened his neck and hardened his heart against turning to the Lord God of Israel.
 代下36:14众祭司长和百姓也大大犯罪、效法外邦人一切可憎的事、污秽耶和华在耶路撒冷分别为圣的殿。
 Furthermore, all the officials of the priests and the people were very unfaithful following all the abominations of the nations; and they defiled the house of the Lord which He had sanctified in Jerusalem.
 代下36:15耶和华他们列祖的　神因为爱惜自己的民、和他的居所、从早起来差遣使者去警戒他们。
 The Lord, the God of their fathers, sent word to them again and again by His messengers, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place;
 代下36:16他们却嘻笑　神的使者、藐视他的言语、讥诮他的先知、以致耶和华的忿怒向他的百姓发作、无法可救。
 but they continually mocked the messengers of God, despised His words and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, until there was no remedy.
 代下36:17所以耶和华使迦勒底人的王来攻击他们、在他们圣殿里用刀杀了他们的壮丁、不怜恤他们的少男处女、老人白叟．耶和华将他们都交在迦勒底王手里。
 Therefore He brought up against them the king of the Chaldeans who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or infirm; He gave them all into his hand.
 代下36:18迦勒底王将　神殿里的大小器皿、与耶和华殿里的财宝、并王和众首领的财宝、都带到巴比伦去了。
 All the articles of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king and of his officers, he brought them all to Babylon.
 代下36:19迦勒底人焚烧　神的殿、拆毁耶路撒冷的城墙、用火烧了城里的宫殿、毁坏了城里宝贵的器皿。
 Then they burned the house of God and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and burned all its fortified buildings with fire and destroyed all its valuable articles.
 代下36:20凡脱离刀剑的、迦勒底王都掳到巴比伦去、作他和他子孙的仆婢、直到波斯国兴起来。
 Those who had escaped from the sword he carried away to Babylon; and they were servants to him and to his sons until the rule of the kingdom of Persia,
 代下36:21这就应验耶和华藉耶利米口所说的话、地享受安息、因为地土荒凉便守安息、直满了七十年。
 to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed its sabbaths. All the days of its desolation it kept sabbath until seventy years were complete.
 代下36:22波斯王古列元年、耶和华为要应验藉耶利米口所说的话、就激动波斯王古列的心、使他下诏通告全国、说、
 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia in order to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he sent a proclamation throughout his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying,
 代下36:23波斯王古列如此说、耶和华天上的　神、已将天下万国赐给我、又嘱咐我在犹大的耶路撒冷为他建造殿宇．你们中间凡作他子民的、可以上去、愿耶和华他的　神与他同在。
 "Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, 'The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and He has appointed me to build Him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever there is among you of all His people, may the Lord his God be with him, and let him go up!'"
