 耶19:1 耶和华如此说、你去买瑶匠的瓦瓶、又带百姓中的长老、和祭司中的长老、
 Thus says the Lord, "Go and buy a potter's earthenware jar, and take some of the elders of the people and some of the senior priests.
 耶19:2 出去到欣嫩子谷、哈珥西〔哈珥西就是瓦片的意思〕的门口那里、宣告我所吩咐你的话、
 "Then go out to the valley of Ben-hinnom, which is by the entrance of the potsherd gate, and proclaim there the words that I tell you,
 耶19:3 说、犹大君王、和耶路撒冷的居民哪、当听耶和华的话．万军之耶和华以色列的　神如此说、我必使灾祸临到这地方、凡听见的人都必耳鸣．
 and say, 'Hear the word of the Lord, O kings of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, "Behold I am about to bring a calamity upon this place, at which the ears of everyone that hears of it will tingle.
 耶19:4 因为他们和他们列祖、并犹大君王离弃我、将这地方看为平常、在这里向素不认识的别神烧香、又使这地方满了无辜人的血．
 "Because they have forsaken Me and have made this an alien place and have burned sacrifices in it to other gods, that neither they nor their forefathers nor the kings of Judah had ever known, and because they have filled this place with the blood of the innocent
 耶19:5 又建筑巴力的邱坛、好在火中焚烧自己的儿子、作为燔祭献给巴力．这不是我所吩咐的、不是我所题说的、也不是我心所起的意。
 and have built the high places of Baal to burn their sons in the fire as burnt offerings to Baal, a thing which I never commanded or spoke of, nor did it ever enter My mind;
 耶19:6 耶和华说、因此、日子将到、这地方不再称为陀斐特、和欣嫩子谷、反倒称为杀戮谷。
 therefore, behold, days are coming," declares the Lord, "when this place will no longer be called Topheth or the valley of Ben-hinnom, but rather the valley of Slaughter.
 耶19:7 我必在这地方、使犹大和耶路撒冷的计谋落空、也必使他们在仇敌面前倒於刀下、并寻索其命的人手下．他们的尸首我必给空中的飞鸟、和地上的野兽作食物。
 "I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place, and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies and by the hand of those who seek their life; and I will give over their carcasses as food for the birds of the sky and the beasts of the earth.
 耶19:8 我必使这城、令人惊骇嗤笑．凡经过的人、必因这城所遭的灾、惊骇嗤笑。
 "I will also make this city a desolation and an object of hissing; everyone who passes by it will be astonished and hiss because of all its disasters.
 耶19:9 我必使他们在围困窘迫之中、就是仇敌和寻索其命的人窘迫他们的时候、各人吃自己儿女的肉、和朋友的肉。
 "I will make them eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they will eat one another's flesh in the siege and in the distress with which their enemies and those who seek their life will distress them."'
 耶19:10 你要在同去的人眼前、打碎那瓶、
 "Then you are to break the jar in the sight of the men who accompany you
 耶19:11 对他们说、万军之耶和华如此说、我要照样打碎这民、和这城、正如人打碎瑶匠的瓦器、以致不能再囫囵．并且人要在陀斐特葬埋尸首、甚至无处可葬。
 and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts, "Just so will I break this people and this city, even as one breaks a potter's vessel, which cannot again be repaired; and they will bury in Topheth because there is no other place for burial.
 耶19:12 耶和华说、我必向这地方、和其中的居民如此行、使这城与陀斐特一样。
 "This is how I will treat this place and its inhabitants," declares the Lord, "so as to make this city like Topheth.
 耶19:13 耶路撒冷的房屋、和犹大君王的宫殿、是已经被玷污的、就是他们在其上向天上的万象烧香、向别神浇奠祭的宫殿房屋、都必与陀斐特一样。
 "The houses of Jerusalem and the houses of the kings of Judah will be defiled like the place Topheth, because of all the houses on whose rooftops they burned sacrifices to all the heavenly host and poured out drink offerings to other gods."'"
 耶19:14 耶利米从陀斐特、就是耶和华差他去说豫言的地方、回来站在耶和华殿的院中、对众人说、
 Then Jeremiah came from Topheth, where the Lord had sent him to prophesy; and he stood in the court of the Lord's house and said to all the people:
 耶19:15 万军之耶和华以色列的　神如此说、我必使我所说的一切灾祸临到这城、和属城的一切城邑、因为他们硬著颈项、不听我的话。
 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, 'Behold, I am about to bring on this city and all its towns the entire calamity that I have declared against it, because they have stiffened their necks so as not to heed My words.'"
