 耶51:1 耶和华如此说、我必使毁灭的风刮起、攻击巴比伦、和住在立加米的人。
 Thus says the Lord: "Behold, I am going to arouse against Babylon And against the inhabitants of Leb-kamai The spirit of a destroyer.
 耶51:2 我要打发外邦人来到巴比伦、簸扬他、使他的地空虚．在他遭祸的日子、他们要周围攻击他。
 "I will dispatch foreigners to Babylon that they may winnow her And may devastate her land; For on every side they will be opposed to her In the day of her calamity.
 耶51:3 拉弓的、要向拉弓的和贯甲挺身的射箭．不要怜惜他的少年人．要灭尽他的全军。
 "Let not him who bends his bow bend it, Nor let him rise up in his scale-armor; So do not spare her young men; Devote all her army to destruction.
 耶51:4 他们必在迦勒底人之地、被杀仆倒、在巴比伦的街上被刺透。
 "They will fall down slain in the land of the Chaldeans, And pierced through in their streets."
 耶51:5 以色列和犹大、虽然境内充满违背以色列圣者的罪、却没有被他的　神万军之耶和华丢弃。
 For neither Israel nor Judah has been forsaken By his God, the Lord of hosts, Although their land is full of guilt Before the Holy One of Israel.
 耶51:6 你们要从巴比伦中逃奔、各救自己的性命．不要陷在他的罪孽中、一同灭亡、因为这是耶和华报仇的时候．他必向巴比伦施行报应。
 Flee from the midst of Babylon, And each of you save his life! Do not be destroyed in her punishment, For this is the Lord's time of vengeance; He is going to render recompense to her.
 耶51:7 巴比伦素来是耶和华手中的金杯、使天下沉醉．万国喝了他的酒就颠狂了。
 Babylon has been a golden cup in the hand of the Lord, Intoxicating all the earth. The nations have drunk of her wine; Therefore the nations are going mad.
 耶51:8 巴比伦忽然倾覆毁坏．要为他哀号、为止他的疼痛、拿乳香、或者可以治好。
 Suddenly Babylon has fallen and been broken; Wail over her! Bring balm for her pain; Perhaps she may be healed.
 耶51:9 我们想医治巴比伦、他却没有治好．离开他罢、我们各人归回本国．因为他受的审判通於上天、达到穹苍。
 We applied healing to Babylon, but she was not healed; Forsake her and let us each go to his own country, For her judgment has reached to heaven And towers up to the very skies.
 耶51:10 耶和华已经彰显我们的公义．来罢、我们可以在锡安报告耶和华我们　神的作为。
 The Lord has brought about our vindication; Come and let us recount in Zion The work of the Lord our God!
 耶51:11 你们要磨尖了箭头、抓住盾牌．耶和华定意攻击巴比伦、将他毁灭、所以激动了玛代君王的心、因这是耶和华报仇、就是为自己的殿报仇。
 Sharpen the arrows, fill the quivers! The Lord has aroused the spirit of the kings of the Medes, Because His purpose is against Babylon to destroy it; For it is the vengeance of the Lord, vengeance for His temple.
 耶51:12 你们要竖立大旗、攻击巴比伦的城墙．要坚固了望台、派定守望的设下埋伏．因为耶和华指著巴比伦居民所说的话、所定的意、他已经作成。
 Lift up a signal against the walls of Babylon; Post a strong guard, Station sentries, Place men in ambush! For the Lord has both purposed and performed What He spoke concerning the inhabitants of Babylon.
 耶51:13 住在众水之上多有财宝的阿、你的结局到了、你贪婪之量满了。
 O you who dwell by many waters, Abundant in treasures, Your end has come, The measure of your end.
 耶51:14 万军之耶和华指著自己起誓、说、我必使敌人充满你、像蚂蚱一样．他们必呐喊攻击你。
 The Lord of hosts has sworn by Himself: "Surely I will fill you with a population like locusts, And they will cry out with shouts of victory over you."
 耶51:15 耶和华用能力创造大地、用智慧建立世界、用聪明铺张穹苍。
 It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom, And by His understanding He stretched out the heavens.
 耶51:16 他一发声、空中便有多水激动．他使云雾从地极上腾．他造电随雨而闪、从他府库中带出风来。
 When He utters His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, And He causes the clouds to ascend from the end of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain And brings forth the wind from His storehouses.
 耶51:17 各人都成了畜类、毫无知识．各银匠都因他的偶像羞愧．他所铸的偶像、本是虚假的、其中并无气息．
 All mankind is stupid, devoid of knowledge; Every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols, For his molten images are deceitful, And there is no breath in them.
 耶51:18 都是虚无的、是迷惑人的工作．到追讨的时候、必被除灭。
 They are worthless, a work of mockery; In the time of their punishment they will perish.
 耶51:19 雅各的分不像这些．因他是造作万有的主．以色列也是他产业的支派．万军之耶和华是他的名。
 The portion of Jacob is not like these; For the Maker of all is He, And of the tribe of His inheritance; The Lord of hosts is His name.
 耶51:20 你是我争战的斧子、和打仗的兵器．我要用你打碎列国、用你毁灭列邦．
 He says, "You are My war-club, My weapon of war; And with you I shatter nations, And with you I destroy kingdoms.
 耶51:21 用你打碎马和骑马的．用你打碎战车和坐在其上的．
 "With you I shatter the horse and his rider,
 耶51:22 用你打碎男人和女人．用你打碎老年人和少年人．用你打碎壮丁和处女．
 And with you I shatter the chariot and its rider, And with you I shatter man and woman, And with you I shatter old man and youth, And with you I shatter young man and virgin,
 耶51:23 用你打碎牧人和他的群畜．用你打碎农夫和他一对牛．用你打碎省长和副省长。
 And with you I shatter the shepherd and his flock, And with you I shatter the farmer and his team, And with you I shatter governors and prefects.
 耶51:24 耶和华说、我必在你们眼前报复巴比伦人和迦勒底居民在锡安所行的诸恶。
 "But I will repay Babylon and all the inhabitants of Chaldea for all their evil that they have done in Zion before your eyes," declares the Lord.
 耶51:25 耶和华说、你这行毁灭的山哪、就是毁灭天下的山、我与你反对．我必向你伸手、将你从山岩辊下去、使你成为烧毁的山。
 "Behold, I am against you, O destroying mountain, Who destroys the whole earth," declares the Lord, "And I will stretch out My hand against you, And roll you down from the crags, And I will make you a burnt out mountain.
 耶51:26 人必不从你那里取石头为房角石、也不取石头为根基石．你必永远荒凉．这是耶和华说的。
 "They will not take from you even a stone for a corner Nor a stone for foundations, But you will be desolate forever," declares the Lord.
 耶51:27 要在境内竖立大旗、在各国中吹角、使列国豫备攻击巴比伦、将亚拉腊、米尼、亚实基拿各国招来攻击他．又派军长来攻击他、使马匹上来如蚂蚱．
 Lift up a signal in the land, Blow a trumpet among the nations! Consecrate the nations against her, Summon against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni and Ashkenaz; Appoint a marshal against her, Bring up the horses like bristly locusts.
 耶51:28 使列国和玛代君王、与省长、和副省长、并他们所管全地之人、都豫备攻击他。
 Consecrate the nations against her, The kings of the Medes, Their governors and all their prefects, And every land of their dominion.
 耶51:29 地必震动而瘠苦．因耶和华向巴比伦所定的旨意成立了、使巴比伦之地荒凉、无人居住。
 So the land quakes and writhes, For the purposes of the Lord against Babylon stand, To make the land of Babylon A desolation without inhabitants.
 耶51:30 巴比伦的勇士止息争战、藏在坚垒之中．他们的勇力衰尽、好像妇女一样．巴比伦的住处有火著起．门闩都折断了。
 The mighty men of Babylon have ceased fighting, They stay in the strongholds; Their strength is exhausted, They are becoming like women; Their dwelling places are set on fire, The bars of her gates are broken.
 耶51:31 通报的要彼此相遇、送信的要互相迎接、报告巴比伦王、说、城的四方、被攻取了．
 One courier runs to meet another, And one messenger to meet another, To tell the king of Babylon That his city has been captured from end to end;
 耶51:32 渡口被占据了、苇塘被火烧了、兵丁也惊慌了。
 The fords also have been seized, And they have burned the marshes with fire, And the men of war are terrified.
 耶51:33 万军之耶和华以色列的　神如此说、巴比伦城、〔城原文作女子〕好像踹谷的禾场．再过片时、收割他的时候就到了。
 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: "The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor At the time it is stamped firm; Yet in a little while the time of harvest will come for her."
 耶51:34 以色列人说、巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒吞灭我、压碎我、使我成为空虚的器皿．他像大鱼、将我吞下、用我的美物充满他的肚腹、又将我赶出去。
 "Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has devoured me and crushed me, He has set me down like an empty vessel; He has swallowed me like a monster, He has filled his stomach with my delicacies; He has washed me away.
 耶51:35 锡安的居民要说、巴比伦以强暴待我、损害我的身体．愿这罪归给他．耶路撒冷人要说、愿流我们血的罪、归到迦勒底的居民。
 "May the violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon," The inhabitant of Zion will say; And, "May my blood be upon the inhabitants of Chaldea," Jerusalem will say.
 耶51:36 所以耶和华如此说、我必为你伸冤、为你报仇．我必使巴比伦的海枯竭、使他的泉源乾涸。
 Therefore thus says the Lord, "Behold, I am going to plead your case And exact full vengeance for you; And I will dry up her sea And make her fountain dry.
 耶51:37 巴比伦必成为乱堆、为野狗的住处、令人惊骇、嗤笑、并且无人居住。
 "Babylon will become a heap of ruins, a haunt of jackals, An object of horror and hissing, without inhabitants.
 耶51:38 他们要像少壮狮子咆哮、像小狮子吼叫。
 "They will roar together like young lions, They will growl like lions' cubs.
 耶51:39 他们火热的时候、我必为他们设摆酒席、使他们沉醉、好叫他们快乐、睡了长觉、永不醒起．这是耶和华说的。
 "When they become heated up, I will serve them their banquet And make them drunk, that they may become jubilant And may sleep a perpetual sleep And not wake up," declares the Lord.
 耶51:40 我必使他们像羊羔、像公绵羊和公山羊、下到宰杀之地。
 "I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, Like rams together with male goats.
 耶51:41 示沙克〔就是巴比伦〕何竟被攻取．天下所称赞的、何竟被占据．巴比伦在列国中、何竟变为荒场。
 "How Sheshak has been captured, And the praise of the whole earth been seized! How Babylon has become an object of horror among the nations!
 耶51:42 海水涨起、漫过巴比伦．他被许多海浪遮盖。
 "The sea has come up over Babylon; She has been engulfed with its tumultuous waves.
 耶51:43 他的城邑、变为荒场、旱地、沙漠、无人居住、无人经过之地。
 "Her cities have become an object of horror, A parched land and a desert, A land in which no man lives And through which no son of man passes.
 耶51:44 我必刑罚巴比伦的彼勒、使他吐出所吞的．万民必不再流归他那里、巴比伦的城墙、也必坍塌了。
 "I will punish Bel in Babylon, And I will make what he has swallowed come out of his mouth; And the nations will no longer stream to him. Even the wall of Babylon has fallen down!
 耶51:45 我的民哪、你们要从其中出去、各人拯救自己、躲避耶和华的烈怒。
 "Come forth from her midst, My people, And each of you save yourselves From the fierce anger of the Lord.
 耶51:46 你们不要心惊胆怯、也不要因境内所听见的风声惧怕．因为这年有风声传来、那年也有风声传来、境内有强暴的事、官长攻击官长。
 "Now so that your heart does not grow faint, And you are not afraid at the report that will be heard in the land For the report will come one year, And after that another report in another year, And violence will be in the land With ruler against ruler
 耶51:47 日子将到、我必刑罚巴比伦雕刻的偶像．他全地必然抱愧．他被杀的人、必在其中仆倒。
 Therefore behold, days are coming When I will punish the idols of Babylon; And her whole land will be put to shame And all her slain will fall in her midst.
 耶51:48 那时、天地和其中所有的、必因巴比伦欢呼．因为行毁灭的、要从北方来到他那里．这是耶和华说的。
 "Then heaven and earth and all that is in them Will shout for joy over Babylon, For the destroyers will come to her from the north," Declares the Lord.
 耶51:49 巴比伦怎样使以色列被杀的人仆倒、照样他全地被杀的人、也必在巴比伦仆倒。
 Indeed Babylon is to fall for the slain of Israel, As also for Babylon the slain of all the earth have fallen.
 耶51:50 你们躲避刀剑的要快走、不要站住．要在远方记念耶和华、心中追想耶路撒冷。
 You who have escaped the sword, Depart! Do not stay! Remember the Lord from afar, And let Jerusalem come to your mind.
 耶51:51 我们听见辱骂就蒙羞、满面惭愧．因为外邦人进入耶和华殿的圣所。
 We are ashamed because we have heard reproach; Disgrace has covered our faces, For aliens have entered The holy places of the Lord's house.
 耶51:52 耶和华说、日子将到、我必刑罚巴比伦雕刻的偶像．通国受伤的人必唉哼。
 "Therefore behold, the days are coming," declares the Lord, "When I will punish her idols, And the mortally wounded will groan throughout her land.
 耶51:53 巴比伦虽升到天上、虽使他坚固的高处更坚固、还有行毁灭的、从我这里到他那里．这是耶和华说的。
 "Though Babylon should ascend to the heavens, And though she should fortify her lofty stronghold, From Me destroyers will come to her," declares the Lord.
 耶51:54 有哀号的声音、从巴比伦出来．有大毁灭的响声、从迦勒底人之地发出。
 The sound of an outcry from Babylon, And of great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans!
 耶51:55 因耶和华使巴比伦变为荒场、使其中的大声灭绝．仇敌彷佛众水波浪訇、响声已经发出。
 For the Lord is going to destroy Babylon, And He will make her loud noise vanish from her. And their waves will roar like many waters; The tumult of their voices sounds forth.
 耶51:56 这是行毁灭的临到巴比伦．巴比伦的勇士被捉住．他们的弓折断了．因为耶和华是施行报应的　神、必定施行报应。
 For the destroyer is coming against her, against Babylon, And her mighty men will be captured, Their bows are shattered; For the Lord is a God of recompense, He will fully repay.
 耶51:57 君王、名为万军之耶和华的、说、我必使巴比伦的首领、智慧人、省长、副省长、和勇士、都沉醉、使他们睡了长觉、永不醒起。
 "I will make her princes and her wise men drunk, Her governors, her prefects and her mighty men, That they may sleep a perpetual sleep and not wake up," Declares the King, whose name is the Lord of hosts.
 耶51:58 万军之耶和华如此说、巴比伦宽阔的城墙、必全然倾倒、他高大的城门、必被火焚烧．众民所劳碌的必致虚空、列国所劳碌的被火焚烧．他们都必困乏。
 Thus says the Lord of hosts, "The broad wall of Babylon will be completely razed And her high gates will be set on fire; So the peoples will toil for nothing, And the nations become exhausted only for fire."
 耶51:59 犹大王西底家在位第四年、上巴比伦去的时候、玛西雅的孙子尼利亚的儿子西莱雅与王同去．（西莱雅是王宫的大臣）先知耶利米有话吩咐他。
 The message which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the grandson of Mahseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah to Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. (Now Seraiah was quartermaster.)
 耶51:60 耶利米将一切要临到巴比伦的灾祸、就是论到巴比伦的一切话、写在书上。
 So Jeremiah wrote in a single scroll all the calamity which would come upon Babylon, that is, all these words which have been written concerning Babylon.
 耶51:61 耶利米对西莱雅说、你到了巴比伦务要念这书上的话。
 Then Jeremiah said to Seraiah, "As soon as you come to Babylon, then see that you read all these words aloud,
 耶51:62 又说、耶和华阿、你曾论到这地方、说、要剪除、甚至连人带牲畜没有在这里居住的、必永远荒凉。
 and say, 'You, O Lord, have promised concerning this place to cut it off, so that there will be nothing dwelling in it, whether man or beast, but it will be a perpetual desolation.'
 耶51:63 你念完了这书、就把一块石头拴在书上、扔在伯拉河中、
 "And as soon as you finish reading this scroll, you will tie a stone to it and throw it into the middle of the Euphrates,
 耶51:64 说、巴比伦因耶和华所要降与他的灾祸、必如此沉下去、不再兴起．人民也必困乏。耶利米的话到此为止。
 and say, 'Just so shall Babylon sink down and not rise again because of the calamity that I am going to bring upon her; and they will become exhausted.'" Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.
