 多2:1 但你所讲的、总要合乎那纯正的道理.
 But as for you, speak the things which are fitting for sound doctrine.
 多2:2 劝老年人、要有节制、端庄、自守、在信心爱心忍耐上、都要纯全无疵。
 Older men are to be temperate, dignified, sensible, sound in faith, in love, in perseverance.
 多2:3 又劝老年妇人、举止行动要恭敬、不说谗言、不给酒作奴仆、用善道教训人.
 Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good,
 多2:4 好指教少年妇人、爱丈夫、爱儿女、
 so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children,
 多2:5 谨守、贞洁、料理家务、待人有恩、顺服自己的丈夫、免得 神的道理被毁谤。
 to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.
 多2:6 又劝少年人要谨守.
 Likewise urge the young men to be sensible;
 多2:7 你自己凡事要显出善行的榜样、在教训上要正直、端庄、
 in all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified,
 多2:8 言语纯全、无可指责、叫那反对的人、既无处可说我们的不是、便自觉羞愧。
 sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.
 多2:9 劝仆人要顺服自己的主人、凡事讨他的喜欢.不可顶撞他.
 Urge bondslaves to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be well-pleasing, not argumentative,
 多2:10 不可私拿东西.要显为忠诚、以致凡事尊荣我们救主 神的道.
 not pilfering, but showing all good faith so that they will adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in every respect.
 多2:11 因为 神救众人的恩典、已经显明出来、
 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,
 多2:12 教训我们除去不敬虔的心、和世俗的情欲、在今世自守、公义、敬虔度日.
 instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age,
 多2:13 等候所盼望的福、并等候至大的 神、和〔或作无和字〕我们救主耶稣基督的荣耀显现。
 looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,
 多2:14 他为我们舍了自己、要赎我们脱离一切罪恶、又洁净我们、特作自己的子民、热心为善。
 who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds.
 多2:15 这些事你要讲明、劝戒人、用各等权柄责备人。不可叫人轻看你。
 These things speak and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no one disregard you.
