 雅4:1 你们中间的争战斗殴、是从那里来的呢．不是从你们百体中战斗之私欲来的麽。
 What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members?
 雅4:2 你们贪恋、还是得不著．你们杀害嫉妒、又斗殴争战、也不能得．你们得不著、是因为你们不求。
 You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask.
 雅4:3 你们求也得不著、是因为你们妄求、要浪费在你们的宴乐中。
 You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.
 雅4:4 你们这些淫乱的人哪、〔淫乱的人原文作淫妇〕岂不知与世俗为友、就是与　神为敌麽．所以凡想要与世俗为友的、就是与　神为敌了。
 You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
 雅4:5 你们想经上所说是徒然的麽．　神所赐住在我们里面的灵、是恋爱至於嫉妒麽。
 Or do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose: "He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us"?
 雅4:6 但他赐更多的恩典．所以经上说、『　神阻挡骄傲的人、赐恩给谦卑的人。』
 But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, " God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble."
 雅4:7 故此你们要顺服　神．务要抵挡魔鬼、魔鬼就必离开你们逃跑了。
 Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
 雅4:8 你们亲近　神、　神就必亲近你们。有罪的人哪、要洁净你们的手。心怀二意的人哪、要清洁你们的心。
 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
 雅4:9 你们要愁苦、悲哀、哭泣．将喜笑变作悲哀、欢乐变作愁闷。
 Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom.
 雅4:10 务要在主面前自卑、主就必叫你们升高。
 Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.
 雅4:11 弟兄们、你们不可彼此批评．人若批评弟兄、论断弟兄、就是批评律法、论断律法．你若论断律法、就不是遵行律法、乃是判断人的。
 Do not speak against one another, brethren. He who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it.
 雅4:12 设立律法和判断人的、只有一位、就是那能救人也能灭人的．你是谁、竟敢论断别人呢。
 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you who judge your neighbor?
 雅4:13 、你们有话说、今天明天我们要往某城里去、在那里住一年、作买卖得利．
 Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit."
 雅4:14 其实明天如何、你们还不知道。你们的生命是甚麽呢．你们原来是一片云雾、出现少时就不见了。
 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.
 雅4:15 你们只当说、主若愿意、我们就可以活著、也可以作这事、或作那事。
 Instead, you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that."
 雅4:16 现今你们竟以张狂夸口．凡这样夸口都是恶的。
 But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil.
 雅4:17 人若知道行善、却不去行、这就是他的罪了。
 Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin.
