 申13:1 你们中间若有先知、或是作梦的起来、向你显个神迹奇事、
 "If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder,
 申13:2 对你说、我们去随从你素来所不认识的别神、事奉他罢．他所显的神迹奇事、虽有应验、
 and the sign or the wonder comes true, concerning which he spoke to you, saying, 'Let us go after other gods (whom you have not known) and let us serve them,'
 申13:3 你也不可听那先知、或是那作梦之人的话、因为这是耶和华你们的　神试验你们、要知道你们是尽心、尽性、爱耶和华你们的　神不是。
 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams; for the Lord your God is testing you to find out if you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
 申13:4 你们要顺从耶和华你们的　神、敬畏他、谨守他的诫命、听从他的话、事奉他、专靠他。
 "You shall follow the Lord your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him.
 申13:5 那先知、或是那作梦的、既用言语叛逆那领你们出埃及地、救赎你脱离为奴之家的耶和华你们的　神、要勾引你离开耶和华你　神所吩咐你行的道、你便要将他治死．这样就把那恶从你们中间除掉。
 "But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has counseled rebellion against the Lord your God who brought you from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery, to seduce you from the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. So you shall purge the evil from among you.
 申13:6 你的同胞弟兄、或是你的儿女、或是你怀中的妻、或是如同你性命的朋友、若暗中引诱你、说、我们不如去事奉你和你列祖素来所不认识的别神、
 "If your brother, your mother's son, or your son or daughter, or the wife you cherish, or your friend who is as your own soul, entice you secretly, saying, 'Let us go and serve other gods' (whom neither you nor your fathers have known,
 申13:7 是你四围列国的神、无论是离你近、离你远、从地这边到地那边的神、
 of the gods of the peoples who are around you, near you or far from you, from one end of the earth to the other end),
 申13:8 你不可依从他、也不可听从他、眼不可顾惜他、你不可怜恤他、也不可遮庇他、
 you shall not yield to him or listen to him; and your eye shall not pity him, nor shall you spare or conceal him.
 申13:9 总要杀他、你先下手、然後众民也下手、将他治死。
 "But you shall surely kill him; your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
 申13:10 要用石头打死他、因为他想要勾引你离开那领你出埃及地为奴之家的耶和华你的　神。
 "So you shall stone him to death because he has sought to seduce you from the Lord your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
 申13:11 以色列众人都要听见害怕、就不敢在你们中间再行这样的恶了。
 "Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and will never again do such a wicked thing among you.
 申13:12 在耶和华你　神所赐你居住的各城中、你若听人说、有些匪类从你们中间的一座城出来勾引本城的居民、说、我们不如去事奉你们素来所不认识的别神．
 "If you hear in one of your cities, which the Lord your God is giving you to live in, anyone saying that
 申13:13 见上节
 some worthless men have gone out from among you and have seduced the inhabitants of their city, saying, 'Let us go and serve other gods' (whom you have not known),
 申13:14 你就要探听、查究、细细的访问、果然是真、准有这可憎恶的事行在你们中间、
 then you shall investigate and search out and inquire thoroughly. If it is true and the matter established that this abomination has been done among you,
 申13:15 你必要用刀杀那城里的居民、把城里所有的、连牲畜、都用刀杀尽。
 you shall surely strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying it and all that is in it and its cattle with the edge of the sword.
 申13:16 你从那城里所夺的财物都要堆积在街市上、用火将城和其内所夺的财物、都在耶和华你　神、面前烧尽．那城就永为荒堆、不可再建造。
 "Then you shall gather all its booty into the middle of its open square and burn the city and all its booty with fire as a whole burnt offering to the Lord your God; and it shall be a ruin forever. It shall never be rebuilt.
 申13:17 那当毁灭的物、连一点都不可粘你的手．你要听从耶和华你　神的话、遵守我今日所吩咐你的一切诫命、行耶和华你　神眼中看为正的事、耶和华就必转意不发烈怒、恩待你、怜恤你、照他向你列祖所起的誓、使你人数增多。
 "Nothing from that which is put under the ban shall cling to your hand, in order that the Lord may turn from His burning anger and show mercy to you, and have compassion on you and make you increase, just as He has sworn to your fathers,
 申13:18 见上节
 if you will listen to the voice of the Lord your God, keeping all His commandments which I am commanding you today, and doing what is right in the sight of the Lord your God.
