申14:1 你们是耶和华你们 神的儿女．不可为死人用刀划身、也不可将额上剃光．
"You are the sons of the Lord your God; you shall not cut yourselves nor shave your forehead for the sake of the dead.
申14:2 因为你归耶和华你 神为圣洁的民、耶和华从地上的万民中、拣选你特作自己的子民。
"For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.
申14:3 凡可憎的物都不可吃。
"You shall not eat any detestable thing.
申14:4 可吃的牲畜就是牛、绵羊、山羊、
"These are the animals which you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat,
申14:5 鹿、羚羊、子、野山羊、麋鹿、黄羊、青羊。
the deer, the gazelle, the roebuck, the wild goat, the ibex, the antelope and the mountain sheep.
申14:6 凡分蹄成为两瓣、又倒嚼的走兽、你们都可以吃。
"Any animal that divides the hoof and has the hoof split in two and chews the cud, among the animals, that you may eat.
申14:7 但那些倒嚼、或是分蹄之中不可吃的、乃是骆驼、兔子、沙番、因为是倒嚼不分蹄、就与你们不洁净。
"Nevertheless, you are not to eat of these among those which chew the cud, or among those that divide the hoof in two: the camel and the rabbit and the shaphan, for though they chew the cud, they do not divide the hoof; they are unclean for you.
申14:8 猪因为是分蹄却不倒嚼、就与你们不洁净．这些兽的肉你们不可吃、死的也不可摸。
"The pig, because it divides the hoof but does not chew the cud, it is unclean for you. You shall not eat any of their flesh nor touch their carcasses.
申14:9 水中可吃的、乃是这些．凡有翅有鳞的、都可以吃、
"These you may eat of all that are in water: anything that has fins and scales you may eat,
申14:10 凡无翅无鳞的、都不可吃、是与你们不洁净。
but anything that does not have fins and scales you shall not eat; it is unclean for you.
申14:11 凡洁净的鸟、你们都可以吃。
"You may eat any clean bird.
申14:12 不可吃的、乃是雕、狗头雕、红头雕、
"But these are the ones which you shall not eat: the eagle and the vulture and the buzzard,
申14:13 、小鹰、鹞鹰、与其类．
and the red kite, the falcon, and the kite in their kinds,
申14:14 乌鸦与其类．
and every raven in its kind,
申14:15 鸵鸟、夜鹰、鱼鹰、鹰与其类．
and the ostrich, the owl, the sea gull, and the hawk in their kinds,
申14:16 鸟、猫头鹰、角鸱、
the little owl, the great owl, the white owl,
申14:17 鹈鹕、秃雕、鸬鹚、
the pelican, the carrion vulture, the cormorant,
申14:18 鹳、鹭鸶、与其类．戴、与蝙蝠。
the stork, and the heron in their kinds, and the hoopoe and the bat.
申14:19 凡有翅膀爬行的物、是与你们不洁净、都不可吃。
"And all the teeming life with wings are unclean to you; they shall not be eaten.
申14:20 凡洁净的鸟、你们都可以吃。
"You may eat any clean bird.
申14:21 凡自死的、你们都不可吃、可以给你城里寄居的吃、或卖与外人吃．因为你是归耶和华你 神为圣洁的民。不可用山羊羔母的奶煮山羊羔。
"You shall not eat anything which dies of itself. You may give it to the alien who is in your town, so that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner, for you are a holy people to the Lord your God. You shall not boil a young goat in its mother's milk.
申14:22 你要把你撒种所产的、就是你田地每年所出的、十分取一分。
"You shall surely tithe all the produce from what you sow, which comes out of the field every year.
申14:23 又要把你的五谷、新酒、和油的十分之一、并牛群羊群中头生的、吃在耶和华你 神面前、就是他所选择要立为他名的居所．这样、你可以学习时常敬畏耶和华你的 神。
"You shall eat in the presence of the Lord your God, at the place where He chooses to establish His name, the tithe of your grain, your new wine, your oil, and the firstborn of your herd and your flock, so that you may learn to fear the Lord your God always.
申14:24 当耶和华你 神赐福与你的时候、耶和华你 神所选择要立为他名的地方、若离你太远、那路也太长、使你不能把这物带到那里去、
"If the distance is so great for you that you are not able to bring the tithe, since the place where the Lord your God chooses to set His name is too far away from you when the Lord your God blesses you,
申14:25 你就可以换成银子、将银子包起来、拿在手中、往耶和华你 神所要选择的地方去。
then you shall exchange it for money, and bind the money in your hand and go to the place which the Lord your God chooses.
申14:26 你用这银子、随心所欲、或买牛羊、或买清酒、浓酒、凡你心所想的、都可以买．你和你的家属、在耶和华你 神的面前、吃喝快乐。
"You may spend the money for whatever your heart desires: for oxen, or sheep, or wine, or strong drink, or whatever your heart desires; and there you shall eat in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice, you and your household.
申14:27 住在你城里的利未人、你不可丢弃他、因为他在你们中间无分无业。
"Also you shall not neglect the Levite who is in your town, for he has no portion or inheritance among you.
申14:28 每逢三年的末一年、你要将本年的土产十分之一、都取出来、积存在你的城中。
"At the end of every third year you shall bring out all the tithe of your produce in that year, and shall deposit it in your town.
申14:29 在你城里无分无业的利未人、和你城里寄居的、并孤儿寡妇、都可以来、吃得饱足．这样、耶和华你的 神必在你手里所办的一切事上、赐福与你。
"The Levite, because he has no portion or inheritance among you, and the alien, the orphan and the widow who are in your town, shall come and eat and be satisfied, in order that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.
