申5:1 摩西将以色列众人召了来、对他们说、以色列人哪、我今日晓谕你们的律例、典章、你们要听、可以学习、谨守遵行。
Then Moses summoned all Israel and said to them: "Hear, O Israel, the statutes and the ordinances which I am speaking today in your hearing, that you may learn them and observe them carefully.
申5:2 耶和华我们的　神在何烈山与我们立约。
"The Lord our God made a covenant with us at Horeb.
申5:3 这约不是与我们列祖立的、乃是与我们今日在这里存活之人立的。
"The Lord did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, with all those of us alive here today.
申5:4 耶和华在山上、从火中、面对面与你们说话。
"The Lord spoke to you face to face at the mountain from the midst of the fire,
申5:5 （那时我站在耶和华和你们中间、要将耶和华的话传给你们、因为你们惧怕那火、没有上山）
while I was standing between the Lord and you at that time, to declare to you the word of the Lord; for you were afraid because of the fire and did not go up the mountain. He said,
申5:6 说、我是耶和华你的　神、曾将你从埃及地、为奴之家领出来。
'I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
申5:7 除了我以外、你不可有别的神。
'You shall have no other gods before Me.
申5:8 不可为自己雕刻偶像．也不可作甚麽形像、彷佛上天、下地、和地底下水中的百物。
'You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.
申5:9 不可跪拜那些像、也不可事奉他、因为我耶和华你的　神、是忌邪的　神、恨我的、我必追讨他的罪、自父及子、直到三四代．
'You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me,
申5:10 爱我守我诫命的、我必向他们发慈爱直到千代、
but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
申5:11 不可妄称耶和华你　神的名、因为妄称耶和华名的、耶和华必不以他为无罪。
'You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.
申5:12 当照耶和华你　神所吩咐的、守安息日为圣日。
'Observe the sabbath day to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you.
申5:13 六日要劳碌作你一切的工、
'Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
申5:14 但第七日、是向耶和华你　神当守的安息日．这一日你和你的儿女、仆婢、牛、驴、牲畜、并在你城里寄居的客旅、无论何工都不可作、使你的仆婢可以和你一样安息。
but the seventh day is a sabbath of the Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant or your ox or your donkey or any of your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you, so that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.
申5:15 你也要记念你在埃及地作过奴仆．耶和华你　神用大能的手、和伸出来的膀臂、将你从那里领出来、因此、耶和华你的　神吩咐你守安息日。
'You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore the Lord your God commanded you to observe the sabbath day.
申5:16 当照耶和华你　神所吩咐的、孝敬父母、使你得福、并使你的日子在耶和华你　神所赐你的地上、得以长久。
'Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, that your days may be prolonged and that it may go well with you on the land which the Lord your God gives you.
申5:17 不可杀人。
'You shall not murder.
申5:18 不可奸淫。
'You shall not commit adultery.
申5:19 不可偷盗。
'You shall not steal.
申5:20 不可作假见证陷害人。
'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
申5:21 不可贪恋人的妻子、也不可贪图人的房屋、田地、仆婢、牛、驴、并他一切所有的。
'You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, and you shall not desire your neighbor's house, his field or his male servant or his female servant, his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.'
申5:22 这些话是耶和华在山上、从火中、云中、幽暗中、大声晓谕你们全会众的、此外并没有添别的话．他就把这话写在两块石版上、交给我了。
"These words the Lord spoke to all your assembly at the mountain from the midst of the fire, of the cloud and of the thick gloom, with a great voice, and He added no more. He wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.
申5:23 那时火焰烧山、你们听见从黑暗中出来的声音、你们支派中所有的首领、和长老、都来就近我．
"And when you heard the voice from the midst of the darkness, while the mountain was burning with fire, you came near to me, all the heads of your tribes and your elders.
申5:24 说、看哪、耶和华我们　神将他的荣光、和他的大能、显给我们看．我们又听见他的声音从火中出来．今日我们得见　神与人说话、人还存活。
"You said, 'Behold, the Lord our God has shown us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice from the midst of the fire; we have seen today that God speaks with man, yet he lives.
申5:25 现在这大火将要烧灭我们、我们何必冒死呢．若再听见耶和华我们　神的声音、就必死亡。
'Now then why should we die? For this great fire will consume us; if we hear the voice of the Lord our God any longer, then we will die.
申5:26 凡属血气的、曾有何人听见永生　神的声音从火中出来、像我们听见、还能存活呢。
'For who is there of all flesh who has heard the voice of the living God speaking from the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?
申5:27 求你近前去、听耶和华我们　神所要说的一切话、将他对你说的话都传给我们、我们就听从遵行。
'Go near and hear all that the Lord our God says; then speak to us all that the Lord our God speaks to you, and we will hear and do it.
申5:28 你们对我说的话、耶和华都听见了．耶和华对我说、这百姓的话我听见了、他们所说的、都是。
"The Lord heard the voice of your words when you spoke to me, and the Lord said to me, 'I have heard the voice of the words of this people which they have spoken to you. They have done well in all that they have spoken.
申5:29 惟愿他们存这样的心、敬畏我、常遵守我的一切诫命、使他们和他们的子孙、永远得福。
'Oh that they had such a heart in them, that they would fear Me and keep all My commandments always, that it may be well with them and with their sons forever!
申5:30 你去对他们说、你们回帐棚去罢。
'Go, say to them, "Return to your tents."
申5:31 至於你、可以站在我这里、我要将一切诫命、律例、典章、传给你、你要教训他们、使他们在我赐他们为业的地上遵行。
'But as for you, stand here by Me, that I may speak to you all the commandments and the statutes and the judgments which you shall teach them, that they may observe them in the land which I give them to possess.'
申5:32 所以你们要照耶和华你们　神所吩咐的谨守遵行．不可偏离左右。
"So you shall observe to do just as the Lord your God has commanded you; you shall not turn aside to the right or to the left.
申5:33 耶和华你们　神所吩咐你们行的、你们都要去行、使你们可以存活得福、并使你们的日子、在所要承受的地上、得以长久。
"You shall walk in all the way which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you will possess.
