 申6:1 这是耶和华你们　神所吩咐教训你们的诫命、律例、典章、使你们在所要过去得为业的地上、遵行．
 "Now this is the commandment, the statutes and the judgments which the Lord your God has commanded me to teach you, that you might do them in the land where you are going over to possess it,
 申6:2 好叫你和你子子孙孙、一生敬畏耶和华你的　神、谨守他的一切律例、诫命、就是我所吩咐你的、使你的日子得以长久。
 so that you and your son and your grandson might fear the Lord your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged.
 申6:3 以色列阿、你要听、要谨守遵行、使你可以在那流奶与蜜之地、得以享福、人数极其增多、正如耶和华你列祖的　神所应许你的。
 "O Israel, you should listen and be careful to do it, that it may be well with you and that you may multiply greatly, just as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.
 申6:4 以色列阿、你要听．耶和华我们　神是独一的主。
 "Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one!
 申6:5 你要尽心、尽性、尽力、爱耶和华你的　神。
 "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
 申6:6 我今日所吩咐你的话、都要记在心上．
 "These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart.
 申6:7 也要殷勤教训你的儿女、无论你坐在家里、行在路上、躺下、起来、都要谈论。
 You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.
 申6:8 也要系在手上为记号、戴在额上为经文。
 "You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead.
 申6:9 又要写在你房屋的门框上、并你的城门上。
 "You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
 申6:10 耶和华你的　神、领你进他向你列祖亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各、起誓应许给你的地．那里有城邑、又大又美、非你所建造的．
 "Then it shall come about when the Lord your God brings you into the land which He swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you, great and splendid cities which you did not build,
 申6:11 有房屋、装满各样美物、非你所装满的．有凿成的水井、非你所凿成的．还有葡萄园、橄榄园、非你所栽种的、你吃了而且饱足．
 and houses full of all good things which you did not fill, and hewn cisterns which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant, and you eat and are satisfied,
 申6:12 那时你要谨慎、免得你忘记将你从埃及地为奴之家、领出来的耶和华。
 then watch yourself, that you do not forget the Lord who brought you from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
 申6:13 你要敬畏耶和华你的　神、事奉他、指著他的名起誓。
 "You shall fear only the Lord your God; and you shall worship Him and swear by His name.
 申6:14 不可随从别神、就是你们四围国民的神．
 "You shall not follow other gods, any of the gods of the peoples who surround you,
 申6:15 因为在你们中间的耶和华你　神、是忌邪的　神．惟恐耶和华你　神的怒气向你发作、就把你从地上除灭。
 for the Lord your God in the midst of you is a jealous God; otherwise the anger of the Lord your God will be kindled against you, and He will wipe you off the face of the earth.
 申6:16 你们不可试探耶和华你们的　神、像你们在玛撒那样试探他。
 "You shall not put the Lord your God to the test, as you tested Him at Massah.
 申6:17 要留意遵守耶和华你们　神所吩咐的诫命、法度、律例。
 "You should diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and His testimonies and His statutes which He has commanded you.
 申6:18 耶和华眼中看为正、看为善的、你都要遵行、使你可以享福、并可以进去、得耶和华向你列祖起誓应许的那美地．
 "You shall do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord, that it may be well with you and that you may go in and possess the good land which the Lord swore to give your fathers,
 申6:19 照耶和华所说的、从你面前撵出你的一切仇敌。
 by driving out all your enemies from before you, as the Lord has spoken.
 申6:20 日後、你的儿子问你说、耶和华我们　神吩咐你们的这些法度、律例、典章、是甚麽意思呢。
 "When your son asks you in time to come, saying, 'What do the testimonies and the statutes and the judgments mean which the Lord our God commanded you?'
 申6:21 你就告诉你的儿子说、我们在埃及作过法老的奴仆、耶和华用大能的手、将我们从埃及领出来．
 then you shall say to your son, 'We were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt, and the Lord brought us from Egypt with a mighty hand.
 申6:22 在我们眼前、将重大可怕的神迹、奇事、施行在埃及地、和法老并他全家的身上．
 'Moreover, the Lord showed great and distressing signs and wonders before our eyes against Egypt, Pharaoh and all his household;
 申6:23 将我们从那里领出来、要领我们进入他向我们列祖起誓应许之地、把这地赐给我们。
 He brought us out from there in order to bring us in, to give us the land which He had sworn to our fathers.'
 申6:24 耶和华又吩咐我们遵行这一切律例、要敬畏耶和华我们的　神、使我们常得好处、蒙他保全我们的生命、像今日一样。
 "So the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God for our good always and for our survival, as it is today.
 申6:25 我们若照耶和华我们　神所吩咐的一切诫命、谨守遵行、这就是我们的义了。
 "It will be righteousness for us if we are careful to observe all this commandment before the Lord our God, just as He commanded us.
