 撒上6:1 耶和华的约柜在非利士人之的七个月。
 Now the ark of the Lord had been in the country of the Philistines seven months.
 撒上6:2 非利士人将祭司和占卜的聚了来、问他们说、我们向耶和华的约柜应当怎样行、请指示我们用何法将约柜送回原处。
 And the Philistines called for the priests and the diviners, saying, "What shall we do with the ark of the Lord? Tell us how we shall send it to its place."
 撒上6:3 他们说、若要将以色列　神的约柜送回去、不可空空的送去、必要给他献赔罪的礼物、然後你们可得痊愈、并知道他的手为何不离开你们。
 They said, "If you send away the ark of the God of Israel, do not send it empty; but you shall surely return to Him a guilt offering. Then you will be healed and it will be known to you why His hand is not removed from you."
 撒上6:4 非利士人说、应当用甚麽献为赔罪的礼物呢．他们回答说、当照非利士首领的数目、用五个金痔疮、五个金老鼠、因为在你们众人和你们首领的身上、都是一样的灾。
 Then they said, "What shall be the guilt offering which we shall return to Him?" And they said, "Five golden tumors and five golden mice according to the number of the lords of the Philistines, for one plague was on all of you and on your lords.
 撒上6:5 所以当制造你们痔疮的像、和毁坏你们田地老鼠的像、并要归荣耀给以色列的　神、或者他向你们和你们的神、并你们的田地、把手放轻些。
 "So you shall make likenesses of your tumors and likenesses of your mice that ravage the land, and you shall give glory to the God of Israel; perhaps He will ease His hand from you, your gods, and your land.
 撒上6:6 你们为何硬著心像埃及人和法老一样呢．　神在埃及人中间行奇事、埃及人岂不释放以色列人、他们就去了麽。
 "Why then do you harden your hearts as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? When He had severely dealt with them, did they not allow the people to go, and they departed?
 撒上6:7 现在你们应当造一辆新车、将两只未曾负轭有乳的母牛、套在车上、使牛犊回家去离开母牛。
 "Now therefore, take and prepare a new cart and two milk cows on which there has never been a yoke; and hitch the cows to the cart and take their calves home, away from them.
 撒上6:8 把耶和华的约柜放在车上、将所献赔罪的金物装在匣子里、放在柜旁、将柜送去。
 "Take the ark of the Lord and place it on the cart; and put the articles of gold which you return to Him as a guilt offering in a box by its side. Then send it away that it may go.
 撒上6:9 你们要看看、车若直行以色列的境界到伯示麦去、这大灾就是耶和华降在我们身上的．若不然、便可以知道不是他的手击打我们、是我们偶然遇见的。
 "Watch, if it goes up by the way of its own territory to Beth-shemesh, then He has done us this great evil. But if not, then we will know that it was not His hand that struck us; it happened to us by chance."
 撒上6:10 非利士人就这样行、将两只有乳的母牛套在车上、将牛犊关在家里。
 Then the men did so, and took two milch cows and hitched them to the cart, and shut up their calves at home.
 撒上6:11 把耶和华的约柜、和装金老鼠并金痔疮像的匣子都放在车上。
 They put the ark of the Lord on the cart, and the box with the golden mice and the likenesses of their tumors.
 撒上6:12 牛直行大道往伯示麦去、一面走一面叫、不偏左右．非利士的首领跟在後面、直到伯示麦的境界。
 And the cows took the straight way in the direction of Beth-shemesh; they went along the highway, lowing as they went, and did not turn aside to the right or to the left. And the lords of the Philistines followed them to the border of Beth-shemesh.
 撒上6:13 伯示麦人正在平原收割麦子、举目看见约柜、就欢喜了。
 Now the people of Beth-shemesh were reaping their wheat harvest in the valley, and they raised their eyes and saw the ark and were glad to see it.
 撒上6:14 车到了伯示麦人约书亚的田间、就站住了．在那里有一块大磐石、他们把车劈了、将两只母牛献给耶和华为燔祭。
 The cart came into the field of Joshua the Beth-shemite and stood there where there was a large stone; and they split the wood of the cart and offered the cows as a burnt offering to the Lord.
 撒上6:15 利未人将耶和华的约柜、和装金物的匣子拿下来放在大磐石上．当日伯示麦人将燔祭和平安祭献给耶和华。
 The Levites took down the ark of the Lord and the box that was with it, in which were the articles of gold, and put them on the large stone; and the men of Beth-shemesh offered burnt offerings and sacrificed sacrifices that day to the Lord.
 撒上6:16 非利士人的五个首领看见、当日就回以革伦去了。
 When the five lords of the Philistines saw it, they returned to Ekron that day.
 撒上6:17 非利士人献给耶和华作赔罪的金痔疮像、就是这些．一个是为亚实突、一个是为迦萨、一个是为亚实基伦、一个是为迦特、一个是为以革伦。
 These are the golden tumors which the Philistines returned for a guilt offering to the Lord: one for Ashdod, one for Gaza, one for Ashkelon, one for Gath, one for Ekron;
 撒上6:18 金老鼠的数目、是照非利士五个首领的城邑、就是坚固的城邑和乡村、以及大磐石．这磐石是放耶和华约柜的、到今日还在伯示麦人约书亚的田间。
 and the golden mice, according to the number of all the cities of the Philistines belonging to the five lords, both of fortified cities and of country villages. The large stone on which they set the ark of the Lord is a witness to this day in the field of Joshua the Beth-shemite.
 撒上6:19 耶和华因伯示麦人擅观他的约柜、就击杀了他们七十人．那时有五万人在那里．〔原文作七十人加五万人〕百姓因耶和华大大击杀他们、就哀哭了。
 He struck down some of the men of Beth-shemesh because they had looked into the ark of the Lord. He struck down of all the people, 50, 070 men, and the people mourned because the Lord had struck the people with a great slaughter.
 撒上6:20 伯示麦人说、谁能在耶和华这圣洁的　神面前侍立呢．这约柜可以从我们这里送到谁那里去呢。
 The men of Beth-shemesh said, "Who is able to stand before the Lord, this holy God? And to whom shall He go up from us?"
 撒上6:21 於是打发人去见基列耶琳的居民、说、非利士人将耶和华的约柜送回来了、你们下来将约柜接到你们那里去罢。
 So they sent messengers to the inhabitants of Kiriath-jearim, saying, "The Philistines have brought back the ark of the Lord; come down and take it up to you."
